I've been running my own graphic design business for the past 27 years (I write and edit, as well as design). I enjoy reading, basketball, martial arts, yoga, photography, ice skating, hiking, going to a movie or museum, or just watching a video at home. My twenty-seven-year-old daughter graduated from UCLA in 2012 and now lives on her own in San Francisco. I was the custodial parent, so my daughter and I have a close relationship. I've been divorced for twenty years and have a good relationship with my ex. While my spiritual foundation is Christianity, my beliefs inextricably include Eastern traditions, particularly Buddhism and Hinduism. I believe in reincarnation and have so since I was a teenager. I also believe Jesus studied in India during the "missing years" in the Bible. I have an interest in numerology, astrology, esoteric science, alternative history, and near death experiences (I haven't had one but know people who have). I try to read at least two books every month. My approach to politics, religion, and life in general is embodied in the maxim, "truth is truth wherever it is found." I am considering moving to India, but this is only in the planning stages. I'm generally familiar with Indian history, but I'm now studying it in greater depth. I also plan to take classes in Hindi. If I do move overseas, however, it won't be for another 2-3 years. I'm not looking to jump into an immediate relationship but prefer to take things slowly and get to know someone first.
