Could I have been Indian in a former life?

I am a semi-retired professional engineer. I have travelled the world for work reasons and have experienced many cultures. My parents left Ireland for London in the 1930s because there was little or no work in Ireland. I have never married, probably because I was never long enough in one place! When I was working in Abu Dhabi I was lucky to have many friends from India. I am a little conservative in nature and know that many people of Indian heritage are too. This does not mean I am boring! Just that I respect others and their views and understand the values of respect, purity, and honour among Indian people - values which are severely lacking in Western societies. I would like to correspond with an Indian lady, share experiences, cultural clashes, and maybe a friendship or romance could develop. Oh yes, I play the violin and guitar, read music, but sadly not the Sitar! I wish whoever reads this long life, good health, and contentment.
