When I have my own land...

None. I had daughter and son with my ex-wife and I haven't been a part of their lives since 2014. I also donated sperm to a lesbian couple and have a daughter with them. I've since helped raise my niece and nephew, but am no longer interested in caring for children and have had a vasectomy.

Appearance is a part of how we express ourselves. The Looking Glass Self supposes that we portray ourselves the way we want to be perceived, and adjust our appearances and behaviors in a continuous cycle based on the responses we get from others. So, I don't value appearance for status and prestige, only that you're taking care of yourself and showing appropriate respect for others.

To provide recognition of the partnership by the state and legal security for/between both partners. There are plenty of people in the world who remain together, happily unmarried.

How to treat people better. I was more self-centered when I was younger. I thought I had to be in order to get what I wanted. Eventually, I realized that wasn't true and that I had ruined relationships with many people while I was trying to achieve something. Now, I strive to treat people better that I used to.

Compatibility. You can love someone with all your heart and still be wrong for each other.

Depends on your culture and goals, but I'd say around 28-30. It's old enough to have built up some savings and established a home, but more importantly, you've given yourself some time to figure who you are and to mature before having to take care someone else.

Professionally, finishing a Master's degree in Computer Science and either really getting a career going in the tech field or pursuing a Ph.D in Computer Science. Personally, building something long-term with a life-partner and living that DINK lifestyle (dual-income, no kids).
